Thank you for joining the Swedish Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Sustainability & Innovation Summit 2025, held on December 4 at the Barbizon Palace in Amsterdam.

We were delighted to welcome such an engaged and forward-thinking group of members and guests to this high-level forum. Bringing together executives, policymakers, academics, and innovators from Sweden and the Netherlands, the Summit offered rich perspectives on how we can collectively tackle today’s sustainability challenges while shaping tomorrow’s innovative solutions.

With distinguished speakers from Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), Vattenfall, SSAB, SAAB, the Netherlands Innovation Center Sweden, RISE Research Institute of Sweden, Ericsson Netherlands, Vattenfall, , the sessions explored Sweden’s global leadership in fossil-free innovation as well as the evolving landscape of AI and tech autonomy.

Your participation and contributions helped make the Summit a success, and we hope the discussions inspired new ideas for driving sustainable transformation within your organisation.

A special thank you to our speakers for sharing their expertise, to our moderators Britta Wyss Bisang and Alexander Ljungström, and to our Honorary Guest, H.E. Mr Liljeström, Ambassador of Sweden to the Netherlands, for their valued presence and insights.

Following the Summit, many of you joined us for the Annual Exclusive Lucia Dinner 2025 at the historic St. Olof’s Chapel. This magical evening filled with tradition, music, celebration, and Swedish hospitality marked a festive end to the Chamber’s 65th anniversary year. We are grateful to everyone who helped make the night unforgettable, from the Swedish Julbord and Business Award Ceremony to the Lucia procession, entertainment, and charity raffle.

We warmly thank all participants for contributing to a truly memorable day of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and celebration.

Annika Ramsköld Chief Sustainability Officer Vattenfall. Board member of Sveaskog, CSR Sweden, Klimatum, Global Compact Network Sweden.

Annika Ramsköld is Chief Sustainability Officer at Vattenfall. The past years she has been elected one of ”Sweden's Most Powerful People in Sustainability" (by Aktuellt Hållbarhet and its readers) and is on Futur/io Institute’s list of Europe’s top 100 CSOs . As head of sustainability, she is responsible to ensure sustainability is fully integrated into all Vattenfall’s processes, decision making and into the daily work, as well as supported by clear targets, policies and strategies. Ramsköld has a Master of Science degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and has worked in Vattenfall for over 30 years with a wide range of assignments from R&D and business development to sales, trading, marketing and strategy. Her more recent positions are as VP Market Strategy and Business Development (MS&BD), VP CEO Office. As VP MS&BD, she initiated and ran two major business development programs; e-mobility and sustainable cities. Ramsköld holds, and has held, many board assignments as chair or board member e.g. Sveaskog, CSR Sweden, JV “Volvo-Vattenfall Plug-in-hybrid company”, Global Compact Network Sweden, Värtan Gas, Klimatum. Ramsköld is also active in many industry associations and working groups including the First Movers Coalition.

Moderator, Britta Wyss Bisang

Britta Wyss Bisang is a sustainability executive with over 20 years of international experience in ESG strategy, sustainable supply chains, public affairs, marketing, and communications. She has served on the executive teams of Schoeller Allibert and the Rainforest Alliance, where she shaped global sustainability strategies and certification systems, while fostering impactful multi-stakeholder collaboration. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of UEBT - Sourcing with Respect, and previously chaired the Board of ISEAL, the global alliance for sustainability standards. Of Swedish and Swiss origin, Britta holds an Executive MBA from IMD in Switzerland and a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from ETH Zurich. She combines business acumen with a background in environmental sciences and a deep commitment to advancing sustainability through innovation, collaboration, and credible impact.

Fatih Noyan is the Country Manager for Ericsson in the Netherlands, a global leader in communications technology & innovation. He holds a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and an MBA. Over his career, Fatih has held leadership roles in four different countries within Ericsson, focusing on building strong customer partnerships and shaping the future of digital connectivity jointly.

Thor Wikfeldt Director of Mimer AI Factory RISE Research Institute of Sweden

Thor Wikfeldt is the director of the Swedish Mimer AI Factory at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. He has over a decade of experience in HPC and digital research infrastructures, focusing on services, strategy, and training to support research and innovation. Thor works to strengthen national and international collaboration across academia, industry, and the public sector, fostering practical and inclusive approaches to technology adoption and capacity building.

John Dekker Sr Innovation Advisor, Netherlands Innovation Network Sweden

John Dekker is the Innovation Attaché for the Netherlands, based at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Stockholm. After moving to Sweden nearly two decades ago, John has become deeply embedded in the country’s vibrant innovation scene. With a strong background in the private sector and Stockholm’s thriving start-up ecosystem, he brings both technical expertise and entrepreneurial insight to his role. Before joining the Dutch Embassy, John served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Fotografiska International, where he led technology and innovation initiatives on a global scale. At the embassy, John plays a central role in the Netherlands Innovation Network Sweden, part of the worldwide Netherlands Innovation Network (NIN) of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. Active in 15 countries with strong innovation ecosystems, this global network connects people, ideas, and technologies to strengthen the Netherlands’ innovation capacity through international collaboration. In Sweden, the innovation network focuses on three key themes that align with the Dutch National Technology Strategy: Quantum Technology, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, and Biotechnology. Together with partners in both countries, John helps build bridges between researchers, companies, and policymakers—turning shared ambitions into tangible results. Recent successes include collaborations on real-life quantum applications in life sciences, as well as joint efforts in developing quantum computers and advanced quantum sensors.

Eva Axelsson Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of Group Sustainability at Saab AB

Eva Axelsson is the Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of Group Sustainability at the Swedish Defence and Security Company, Saab AB. Eva has over 20 years of experience in sustainable business, organisations and authorities, of which her last 10 years were in the finance industry before moving to Saab in May 2021. As Chief Sustainability Officer and Head of Group Sustainability at Saab AB, Eva leads and further develops the company’s sustainability strategy and the involvement and communication with regulators, institutions and sector organisations. Prior to Saab, Eva has worked in a number of sustainability roles including Head of Sustainability at both Swedbank Robur and KPA Pension. She began her career as an Environmental Specialist at Skanska.

Alexander Ljungström, Magaing Director Einar & Partners

Alexander Ljungstrom is the managing director of Einar & Partners, a firm specializing in AI for IT Operations (AIOps). He has helped some of the leading enterprises in the EU develop their AI strategies from a process and policy perspective. With a helicopter view of the AI market, Alexander moves away from hype and buzzwords, instead focusing on making return on investment for AI tangible with practical advice, and sharing direct experiences from some of the largest global companies.
