On December 15, 2023, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the Sustainability & Innovation Summit 2023 – “Driving the Green Transition Together followed by the exclusive annual Lucia Dinner at Hotel Hilton, Amsterdam.

At this summit we will be joined by business leaders, entrepreneurs, politicians, and academics from both Sweden and the Netherlands, discussing learnings from the recent Swedish Presidency of the European Council in regard to driving the European sustainability agenda forward. What are the key outcomes and the next steps from the UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai taking place only a few weeks before the Swedish Chamber Summit? How are Swedish and Dutch companies adjusting their business models towards the green transitions, what collaborations help them to accelerate their efforts, and how this help them to navigate the complex landscape of policies and regulations under the European Green Deal? Join the Swedish Sustainability & Innovation Summit 2023 and gain thought leadership insights, learn about the latest innovations, and get inspired by the change-makers making the green transition a reality.

At the following Swedish Chamber Annual Lucia Dinner, we proudly present a full program including a Keynote by the Swedish Ambassador to the Netherlands, the Annual Business Award Ceremony, entertainment and music performance, a fantastic charity raffle, and of course a grand Swedish Lucia procession.

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce Gala Dinner & Dance includes the Swedish Chamber Business Award Ceremony, the traditional Swedish Lucia Procession, Swedish entertainment, and dancing as well as a fantastic charity raffle.

Business Award Nomination

The Swedish Chamber of Business Awards aims to strengthen Swedish-Dutch business relations and are awarded to Swedish companies in the Netherlands.

The Annual Swedish Business Awards was launched in 2010 in collaboration with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the Netherlands, The Swedish Embassy, and Business Sweden under the name The Swedish Chamber Export Prize. Swedish companies successfully established on the Dutch market are able to apply for the Business Awards. Companies that have received the Awards during the years are among others Handelsbanken, Budbee, Scania, Vattenfall, Oatly, SWECO, and SKF to mention a few.

The Grand Award Ceremony takes place at the Swedish Chamber Gala Dinner and Dancing after the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Sustainability and Innovation Summit “Driving the Green Transition Together” on December 15, 2023. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce exclusive Gala Dinner offers excellent opportunities for the Award-winning companies to present themselves and to meet the Swedish Dutch extensive business network in the Netherlands.

Andrea Orsag - Sustainability Strategy Advisor

Sustainability and Circular Economy Evangelist. Andrea is a founder of MissionC, a strategy advisory based in Amsterdam on a mission to accelerate the green transition on a global scale through circular economy and ESG incorporation. Advisor and Non-Executive Director with 15 years of experience combining Risk Management, Strategy, and Change Management cross-industry, both for the commercial sector and not-for-profit organisations internationally. Helping organisations bring their ideas to life by refining their sustainability strategies, adjusting business models towards circularity, delivering programs and engaging stakeholders. Recently she has been appointed sustainability expert at European Commission. Andrea also acts as a speaker, guest lecturer, expert moderator and facilitator on topics related to Circular Economy, Sustainability and Impact.
