“Mastering Leadership for the Future – Kick-off”

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming this year’s ten mentorship pairs as they embarked on their journey of growth, guidance, and connection.

The evening began with an inspiring introduction by Mentorship Coach Hendrik Jan Guitink, followed by interactive breakout sessions led by former mentee Dmytro Shytikov. Here, mentees and mentors mapped out their goals and expectations before the highly anticipated mentor-mentee reveal. With the first one-on-one conversations underway, the program is officially in motion.

Looking ahead, we are thrilled to open our mentorship keynote lectures to our mentorship alumni. These sessions offer exclusive insights from expert speakers:

April 24 – Sustainable Leadership with Gabriele Hamm Adler
May 15 – Personal and Professional Branding (speaker to be announced)
September 18 – Mindfulness and Work-Life Balance with Cole Groom

About the Swedish Chamber Mentorship Programme
The Mentorship Program was launched in October 2012. Since then, more than 100 Young Professionals of the Swedish Chamber have followed the program and benefited from their future personal and professional growth. The many Mentors have benefited from meeting the new generation leaders of the future and learning more about their insights and values. The Mentorship Program is made possible by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with AIMS International Netherlands B.V., a member of AIMS International. Read more here

Dmytro Shytikov, Product Manager IKEA Global

Dmytro is a Product Manager at IKEA Digital Hub in Amsterdam, where he leads digital product development of CRM marketing communications, serving millions of IKEA customers across 30 countries worldwide. His professional experience spans various product management and marketing roles within retail and e-commerce. Dmytro holds a Master’s degree in International Economics and studied Sustainable Management in Norway

Hendrik-Jan Guitink, Mentorship Program Coach and Managing Partner of AIMS International Netherlands B.V

Hendrik Jan is the Managing Partner at AIMS International Netherlands B.V. and a senior professional in Executive Search and Leadership Consulting. With extensive experience as both a mentor and business coach, Hendrik Jan aims to empower young professionals by providing guidance on career development and fostering meaningful connections outside their direct circles.

After studying Organizational Science followed by a 2 year Master program in Public Administration, Niels worked for 10 years in Recruitment and Assessment.

He always combined his work with coaching in elite sport among others he has coached the Belgian Women National Field hockey Team for many years.

The blend of working in business and elite sport gives great cross-cultural insights when it comes to personal leadership development, team dynamics, working under internal and external pressure and positioning as an individual, team or company.
