MEET THE NEW BOARD MEMBER ARMANDA WILLEMS, COUNTRY MANAGER LIME TECHNOLOGIES
The Board of Directors of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce are very proud to present new Board Member Armanda Kusse-Willems, Country Manager of Lime Technologies, who was elected at the Annual General Meeting on June 21, 2022. Armanda Kusse-Willems work at Lime Technologies as a Country Manager since 2020 and have been working in the IT for over 10 years. Selling CRM is their core business, and it is what made them big in Scandinavia. Since 2020, they have expanded to the Netherlands and since 2021, Germany is also one of the countries that they are active in. Lime Technologies is a Swedish company with their HQ in Lund. After joining them, Armanda got introduced to the Swedish Chamber in the Netherlands and Lime became a member. Her focus is on setting foot to the ground in The Netherlands and to grow as a company, but also as becoming one of the biggest CRM suppliers in The Netherlands. BCS 2022- 83% believe their customers to consider environmental aspects in their purchasing decisions
Swedish companies operating in the Netherlands find that their customer base is becoming more aware of sustainable and environmental impact. 44% of respondents felt that the environmental impact drives the majority of the customers’ purchase decisions. 39% answered partially. In summation, 83% of the Industrial companies reported that sustainability greatly drives their customers’ purchasing decisions. The Young Professionals of the Swedish Chambers of Commerce is very thankful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Oliver Karlsson in the past years. Oliver has greatly contributed to the Young Professionals of the Swedish Chambers of Commerce both as a Committee Member and in his role as the Chairman. We appreciate Oliver’s involvement in the Young Professionals community and the many events and meetings he has been a part of. Oliver will shortly be relocating to Sweden to start an exciting new chapter. We would like to extend a big thank you to Oliver and we wish him all the best with his future endeavors.

BCS 2022- 66% perceived the Swedish Brand to contribute positively to their business
In the Business Climate Survey 2022 we asked the companies to what extent the Swedish brand impacts their business. In fact, the Dutch have a very positive view of Sweden and strongly associate the country with high quality in terms of services, management, goods, technical know-how, innovation, and sustainability. 66% of the participating companies consider that the Swedish brand has a positive impact on their business. 20% answered that the Swedish brand partially contributes positively to their business. This means that in total 86% of the respondents think that the Swedish brand contributes partially or much/very much positively to their business success. Furthermore, 100% of the newcoming companies answered that the Swedish brand contributes much or very much to their business in the Netherlands, which makes them the most positive category looking at the age of the answering companies.

BCS 2022 – 84% perceived the business climate as very good or good
This year 84% of the responding companies perceive the business climate as very good or good. The most positive companies are the newcomers and experienced companies, who all answered that they perceived the Dutch business climate as very good or good. Newcomer companies are companies that have been active in the Netherlands for less than 6 years and experienced companies mean that they are active for more than 6 years. In fact, this year none of the respondents perceived the business climate as very poor or poor. Regarding the advantages of the Dutch market, on average, respondents gave the highest score to physical infrastructure followed by personal safety and legal security. There are several factors contributing to the strengthening of the competitiveness of Swedish companies on the Dutch market.
