Patron Member AKD hosts Swedish Chamber seccond Board Meeting 2019
On May 23, 2019 The Swedish Chamber of Commerce seccond Board Meeting 2019 was hosted by The Swedish Chamber of Commerce Patron Member AKD located at The Edge in Amsterdam. This innovative building is ranged as world’s most sustainable office building. The sophisticated design, combined with smart and advanced technology, has resulted in a 98.36% sustainability score for the building and sheds new light on future real estate by generating more energy than they consume. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors were very honored to be welcomed by Barend de Roy van Zuidewijn,  Partner AKD who shared a short introduction of AKD before starting the meeting. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce would like to thank Bert Heikens and Barend de Roy van Zuidewijn for their generous hosting of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Board Meeting and for the opportunity to visiting their amazing office at The Edge Amsterdam.

April 11, 2019 Annual General Meeting
On Thursday April 11, 2019 The Annual General Meeting 2018 took place at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce premises at Epicenter Amsterdam. In the presence of Honorary Chairman H.E. Mrs. Annika Markovic three new Board Members were elected to join the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for the coming years.   Mr. Everth Flores, VP/GM Country Manager The Netherlands, Ericsson, Mr. Wilko Klaassen, VP Commercial Belgium / Netherlands (GM BNL) at Klarna, Mr. Johan Uhlin, Managing Director Scania Production Nederland B.V, Zwolle.The Chairman, Mr. Ehsan Turabaz welcomed the new Board Members and thanked the leaving Board Members Mrs. Maria Karlström, Scania and Mr. Kees van Oosten, TeekensKarstens for their commitment and great contribution to the development of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce during their period in the Swedish Chamber Board. The activity reports of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce 2018 were presented in the Annual Review 2018. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all members contributing to the production of the Annual Review and member company Nordholm Design & Communication for design & production. After the Annual General Meeting the Swedish Chamber of Commerce was very pleased to introduce some of the interesting and exciting fellow tenants at Epicenter Amsterdam and to take a tour at our new office guided by Douwe Dirks, Sales Manager Epicenter

Business Women Program 2019, April 16
The second out of four Swedish Chamber of Commerce Business Women Program with MH Leadership took place April 16, 2019. The theme for this Leadership Training wasOvercome perfectionism – when is it good enough? Put a limit to your perfection and learn how to delegate.” A total of 17 business women from various companies related to the Swedish Chamber of Commerce participated and shared experiences and views of perfectionism and how to deal with this topic both in your professional and personal life. We would like to thank Malin Hedlund MH Leadership and all participants for making this Leadership Training to a great success.
