Farewell reception for H.E. Ambassador Mr. Per Holmström
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce was very pleased to thank H.E. Ambassador Mr. Per Holmström for his generous support as Honorary Chairman of the Chamber and for the great collaboration with him and his team at his Farewell reception on June 28th.  There were many good shared moments and activities to look back upon, and to make sure the good spirit will be preserved also for the future, Chairman Ehsan Turabaz invited Per Holmström to the Board of Recommendation of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce.

September 4, 2018 International Chambers Regatta 2018 by Dutch Chamber of Commerce in Sweden
The Dutch Chamber of Commerce in Sweden invites their fellow members from the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands to participate in their International Chamber's Regatta on Tuesday September 4, 2018. There is no better way to start the new business season than through an unique team-building exercise and to participate with your company in the International Chambers' Regatta 2018. Sign up with a company team or as an individual and compete with your team against other members from six international Chambers in Stockholm's beautiful Archipelago. A great way to make new friends and extend your professional network within the international business community. Under the supervision of professional sailing instructors, boats/teams of 4-5 crew members learn how to sail an ultramodern FAR EAST 28R sailing boat and have fun and some excitement on the way. No prior sailing experience is required. There are two sign up options: 1) for companies with a company team boat “all-inclusive team building package” 2) for individuals in a mixed boat at discounted fees for members (limited availability).

May 23, Startup Summit Sweden – the Netherlands

On Wednesday the 23rd and Thursday the 24th Prince Daniel visited Amsterdam to attend both the “Startup Summit Sweden-Netherlands” and “The Next Web” fair.

The visit began with a tour of the newly opened Epicenter Amsterdam. Epicenter is a Swedish digital innovation-house which also exists since previously in Stockholm. In the 11,000 square meters of premises in Amsterdam, digital start-up companies and larger multinational companies can now meet. At Epicenter, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the Netherlands, the Embassy of Sweden in the Hague, and the Dutch Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Policy organized the ‘Startup summit Sweden-The Netherlands: all you need to know about connecting the Swedish-Dutch Startup Scene”. Together with Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands, Prince Daniel attended the seminar. The two Princes initially spoke to the audience about their views on the importance of entrepreneurship and what both countries can learn from each other. The Secretary of State at the Ministry for Enterprise and Innovation, Stina Billinger was also present.
