Sweco’s President and CEO Åsa Bergman has been appointed member of the Swedish National Innovation Council by the Chairman, the Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Löfven.
In autumn 2015, Prime Minister Stefan Löfven instituted a new Innovation Council with the task of working to strengthen Sweden’s innovation capacity and competition. The Prime Minister himself is the Chairman of the new Innovation Council.
The Council consists of ten independent members from the academic world and from the business community. This collaboration gives the opportunity to handle issues that cover a broad perspective, which is needed to be able to develop the Swedish innovation climate on a number of different levels.
