The Swedish energy company Vattenfall urges the Dutch government to produce a long-term vision for climate policy. ‘If Vattenfall makes an investment in the Netherlands, it is a major investment in energy production that will continue for years. So to invest the money properly and to make the risks acceptable to us, guidance is needed from the government,’ CEO Anna Borg said in an interview with Financieele Dagblad that took place shortly before last week’s judgment in the action against Shell.
