The Young Professionals Committee

The Young Professionals (YP) Committee outlines the work and activities, as well as member acquisition and communication for the Young Professionals of the Swe-Cham. This committee provides a platform for Young Professionals to connect and contribute to the dynamic network.

“YP is a great place to create both professional and personal relations that makes a difference. Everyone in YP is in one way or another related to Sweden and happen to live or be involved in The Netherlands. It’s a niche, which makes it more important to find like-minded people. And the fun events and smiles, of course!”.

– Alexander Ljungström, Chairperson of the YP Committee
Managing Director of Einar & Partner

“Being a member grants you a unique opportunity to benefit from industry insights and cutting-edge research during our many events, which can give you a competitive edge in your career. As a member, you are also given mentorship opportunities, community engagement, long-lasting friendships, and an opportunity for personal growth”.

– Rebecca Van Dorrestein, Member of the YP Committee
Business Development Manager at Heussen

“Joining Young Professionals offers a unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant community focused on networking, collaboration, and professional growth. As a member, you will benefit from engaging events, a supportive peer network, and meaningful interactions with member companies within the chamber”.

– Benjamin Selvani, Member of the YP Committee
Account Executive Nordics at Zoom

Quite recently I joined the Young Professional network, and I was positively surprised by the warm welcome. One thing I noticed is the strong network it brings connecting Sweden and the Netherlands. If you have a great affinity with both it will boost your Swedish-Dutch business sense offering various opportunities, engagements and events“.

– Eva Houbiers, Member of the YP Committee
Construction Manager Onshore Wind at Vattenfall
