Thank you to everyone who joined us for the incredible evening on the Amsterdam canals with Stromma and the Young Professionals network! The highlight of the evening was Stromma’s inspiring presentation about its sustainability strategy. As the city of Amsterdam has the goal to only have zero-emission vessels in 2025, a committed sustainability strategy from Stromma is necessary. We got to learn about both their motivation, challenges, and solutions from CEO Carola Hoekstra, and project manager Floris de Vroe.

Meet the Member of the Young Professionals Committee Ellen Olofsson
We are proud to present Ellen Olofsson as a member of the Young Professionals Committee 2023-2024. Ellen says that:
"It feels valuable to join the YP Committee, in order to share ideas and see the needs for its continuous development together with other curious and interesting individuals, in this unique Swedish-Dutch platform [...] With my educational direction and personal interest in sustainability, I am especially passionate about engaging and involve others in the YP-community on this subject. We are proud to present YP Chairperson 2023-2024, Joachim Rittfeldt Hofvenschiöld.
"As YP Chairperson I would like to foster an environment where young professionals can thrive, grow, and develop essential skills for their future careers. Through the Young Professional Committee, I hope to organize events, workshops, and mentorship programs that can aid in their professional and personal development.
