Winners of Essay Competition!
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce is very proud to announce the recipients of the Free tickets to the "Swedish Chambers Sustainability & Innovation Summit AI – Driving the Sustainable Transition on Dec 6, 2024, at Hilton Hotel Amsterdam from 13.30-17.15. The Swedish Chamber is truly impressed by the numerous compelling and impactful applications, making the selection process quite challenging. After thorough deliberation, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce is pleased to award free tickets to the following students, extending a warm welcome to them at our Summit on December 6, 2024.

Celebrate Lucia with the Young Professionals
Experience one of Sweden's most beloved traditions as the Swedish Chamber, in collaboration with its member company Stromma, hosts the annual Lucia celebration on 13 December 2024. The event will take place in Stromma’s beautiful offices on Keizersgracht in central Amsterdam, offering a festive evening to mark the holiday season. Guests will enjoy an authentic Swedish Lucia procession with the traditional choir, högtidskören. Seasonal refreshments, including warm glögg and gingerbread, will be provided courtesy of Inter IKEA Systems, creating a cosy and convivial atmosphere for networking and celebration. As an added highlight, attendees will have the opportunity to win tickets to the Amsterdam Light Festival, making the evening even more memorable. Europe at the Crossroads Event
On 13 November, the International Management Trainees of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce had the privilege of attending the Europe at the Crossroads event, hosted by Stockholms Akademiska Forum, the European Commission's representation in the Netherlands, the Swedish Embassy in the Netherlands, and the Leiden University Europe Hub. The event featured a stimulating discussion on Europe's pressing political and institutional challenges. We were particularly grateful for the opportunity to meet and hear from H.E. Johannes Oljelund, Ambassador of Sweden to the Netherlands, who shared valuable insights during the panel discussion. Our heartfelt thanks go to the organisers for extending the invitation and facilitating such an enriching afternoon of conversation and networking.
