Sweden and the Netherlands have had diplomatic relations for more than 400 years and are in many ways very similar, which makes it easy to establish contacts and collaborations. Here, Kerstin Gerlagh, General Manager of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands, talks about a new 60-year-old who has a continued valuable role to play. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands is a new partner of Swedes Worldwide.
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands was founded in 1960 on the initiative of the then ambassador Sven Dalman together with a number of Swedish business leaders under the motto “of members for members”. In other words, we should have celebrated the Chamber of Commerce’s 60th anniversary last year, but due to the corona pandemic, we had to postpone our plans. Now we hope instead to be able to celebrate with the Innovation & Sustainability Summit and Gala Dinner on November 18, 2021.
