Board Candidate Spotlight: Wiebe Schmitz, Country Manager, Saab Netherlands
Wiebe Schmitz has more than a decade of leadership experience in international defence and advanced technologies. He currently oversees Saab’s Dutch operations and previously served as Head of Marketing & Sales for Saab Kockums Submarines (2015–2024), gaining strategic and commercial experience within one of Sweden’s most advanced industrial sectors.
Saab develops and delivers world-class defence and security solutions—from fighter aircraft and missile systems to underwater technologies and civil safety—serving both national and international markets.
