Scholarship recipient 2022-2023

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce is very pleased to have Ellen Olofsson as a Management Trainee at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the Netherlands.

Ellen Olofsson has a double bachelor’s degree in Social Environmental Science and Business and Economics, specializing in Corporate Sustainability. She studied at The School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. In 2021, Ellen and her thesis colleague were awarded the Bachelor Thesis Price within the field of commerce.

During her time at the university, she also took part in extracurricular activities, participating as a board member for her study program. As a final part of her education, Ellen had the opportunity to enroll as an exchange student at the University of the Basque Country, in Bilbao, Spain.

Ellen is pleased to have gained practical knowledge and insight, alongside her university studies, while working in different international companies during the past five years.

Ellen views the traineeship at the Swedish Chambers of Commerce as a fantastic opportunity to learn more about and develop her skills in international business relations.

She is thrilled to be part of the team in Amsterdam this year. Ellen’s areas of responsibility are Members, Events, and the Young Professionals. She views her varying role as excitedly challenging
where she learns something new every day. She believes it is fun and developing to get the opportunity to share her own ideas and to have freedom with responsibility, of course with support from the team. She appreciates and resonates with the organizations core, having the intention to contribute with value for the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and its members.

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce is happy about the  collaboration with Ellen and wishes her a lot of success!
