Cinnamon buns, or “kanelbullar” in Swedish, are a true icon of Swedish fika culture A traditional Swedish ‘fika’ often consists of a cinnamon bun and a coffee. However, the concept of ‘fika’ is so much more than just having a bite to eat. It is about taking a break for quality time, either at work, with friends and family or just in the peace and quiet by yourself.
