Jan B. Sundelin, the new Chairperson of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the Netherlands

At the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Board Meeting on September 24, 2024, Jan B. Sundelin, Partner Partinc, was elected as the new Chairperson for the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, succeeding departing Chairperson Johan Uhlin.

Having been a member of the Swedish Chamber for over 20 years, and having served on the board since 2018, Jan has a deep understanding of the organisation’s mission and values. He has lived and worked in the Netherlands for half his life and holds both Swedish and Dutch citizenship. Jan expresses his enthusiasm for his new role, stating, “I am honoured and looking forward to this role and to helping bring Sweden and the Netherlands, two countries which I personally feel connected to, closer together.”

In addition to his new role, Jan will continue serving as the Chairperson of the Swedish Chamber Tech Committee, where he has already made significant contributions in developing the Chamber’s Tech Table Program. As a partner at Partinc, a European investment firm that invests in SaaS companies, Jan is committed to supporting entrepreneurs in improving efficiency and sustainability within their organisations.

With his extensive experience, Jan aims to continue fostering business relations between Sweden and the Netherlands. He is dedicated to the Chamber’s core values of Sustainability, Innovation & Technology, and Diversity & Inclusion and aims to continue developing these together with the Board, Management and the Members of the Chamber.

Ruth de Jager, Vice Chairperson and member of the Nomination Committee, states: “Jan has been a valuable member of the Board of the Swedish Chamber for over six years, including successfully driving our Tech Committee. With his extensive experience in advisory boards, his entrepreneurial background, and Swedish roots, he is a perfect match for the role of Chairman of our board, broadening our views and network going forward.”
