On May 24, 2022, Johan Uhlin, CEO of Scania Production Nederland B.V, Zwolle and Vice Chairman of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce since November 2020, was unanimously elected Chairman of the Board of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the Netherlands by the Board with immediate effect.
Bert Heikens, Treasurer of the Executive Board congratulated Johan Uhlin on his new appointment and thanked him for the way he stepped in and acted for the past 1,5 years as acting Chairman of the Board due to the arisen situation. The Board and Management of the Chamber are very happy to continue the pleasant and very good collaboration that is formalized by today’s decision of the Board.

The chamber has played over the past 60 plus years of its existence a vital and important part in the strengthening of the Dutch-Swedish business climate and collaboration between the two countries. As the world now changes rapidly, I’m looking forward to continuing this journey, together with my fellow board members, to support and guide Kerstin and her team in the chamber’s efforts to further develop and strengthen the offering in this interesting but challenging environment.”
