Swedish Chamber of Commerce International (SCI) Day June 13, 2024

Back to overview

On June 13-14th, we organized the annual SCI Days at Stockholms Handelskammare.

For two days, 25 of our members gathered in person to mingle, brainstorm, and share stories from all over the world. For example, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce India encouraged employees at Swedish companies to collectively walk 8 FULL laps around the world! And a few hours away from India, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (SCCJ) is constructing an architectural masterpiece, a “House of Sweden,” in Tokyo.

The SCI Day began with a site visit at Atlas Copco and Epiroc. Thank you so much, Thomas Dahlgren, Nadim Penser, and Linnea Grönwall, for hosting us and showing us your impressive range of services and products. The fact that it was conducted 20 meters below ground added an extra touch.

The next day started with the launch of the Business Climate Survey together with Business Sweden, which was followed by the SCI Annual Meeting and a presentation by the Scholarship Fund for Swedish Youth Abroad. The rest of the day consisted of workshops, in which Tamara Paravlic and Mandy Pieksma from the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Sweden and Kajsa Guterstam, Doug Washburn, and Victoria Wikström from Svenska Institutet joined us. Thank you all for joining us!

Not only did we have fun during the mingles and After Work, but it was also a productive day that introduced new ways to expand SCI.
