We are pleased to introduce one of our featured speakers, Björn Håkansson, Business Developer at TNO.
Originally from Sweden and based in the Netherlands since 1999, Björn brings over two decades of cross-border experience in telecom, tech, and innovation. His career spans key roles at Telia, Ericsson, and Atos, and since 2008, he has led major strategic programmes at TNO, the Dutch Organisation for Applied Scientific Research.
In recent years, Björn has played a pivotal role in shaping Europe’s approach to cloud infrastructure. He was instrumental in securing Dutch participation in IPCEI-CIS (Important Projects of Common European Interest – Cloud Infrastructure and Services), and currently serves as Co-Chair of the European Alliance for Industrial Data, Edge and Cloud, advising the European Commission on future technology roadmaps.
At the M&A Forum, Björn will share insights into how Europe is investing in European cloud technologies to reduce reliance on the US and drive digital sovereignty.
