Yesterday on September 1 2021, the Global Business Climate Survey was presented. The survey examines Swedish companies’ perspectives on local business conditions and what factors that are important for success in global markets. The Global Business Climate Survey is an important tool to map the opportunities and challenges that Swedish companies face whilst doing business abroad and is a collaboration between Business Sweden, the Swedish Chambers of Commerce and Sweden’s embassies and consulates abroad.
This year, the survey was based on 1,400 responses across 22 global markets. This was the first year the Netherlands participated in the survey, and the results were truly impressive! The Netherlands reported high numbers overall regarding aspects like Sustainability, Business Climate, Business Performance and Outlook, and Positive Expectations on Industry Turnovers for the next 12 months. More specifically, the Netherlands stood out as the market where customers are believed to care the most about environmental factors as well as the market in which the respondents described the current business climate most positively.
