Markus Wandt, the third Swedish astronaut in space

Today is a big day for the innovative Swedish space industry, as the Swedish astronaut Marcus Wandt is set to embark into space as part of Axiom Mission 3. This will make Marcus the third Swede ever to go into space! As an engineer, pilot, and now space explorer, Marcus will conduct 30 scientific experiments, including stem cell research for Uppsala University. His 14-day journey aims to enhance astronauts’ well-being and benefit Earth’s high-risk environments. Best of luck, Marcus!
