The Swedish Chamber of Commerce is delighted to welcome you to the Swedish Chamber Tech Table: M&A Forum on June 5, 2025.

At this event, we will present some of the European developments in the cloud sector – especially how Europe invests in European cloud technologies to decrease US dependencies. One of our established speakers, Björn Håkansson, Business Development Manager at TNO, has worked on this for more than five years, but the topic has become increasingly pressing – not only due to the Draghi report on European competitiveness from last year, but more recently due to Trump’s willingness to put pressure on other countries and use US companies in that process.

Will the European cloud sector be able to respond to these challenges and increase digital autonomy in Europe? Will we see more investments, more mergers & acquisitions, and more innovation in the industry to make this happen? And what role will our national and European politicians play?

Other interesting topics that we will cover during this event are:

  • How is the tech M&A climate evolving in light of the US’s shifting inward focus – and how does Europe compare? by Jan Sundelin, Partner at PartInc
  • What are the key trends in growth equity investment in Sweden and across Europe? by Sam Myhrman, Private Market Advisory at Nordics
  • In a market where technology is often the engine of value, software quality and scalability can make or break a deal. SIG will share insights on the state of software, how software due diligence is evolving in Europe, and how to avoid common pitfalls in assessing tech-driven targets. by Ivy Chen, Private Equity Practice Lead at Software Improvement Group (SIG)

We look forward to welcoming you.
