Prime Cyber Security threats and major trends with respect to threats, threat actors and attack technologies

 

On March 17, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce hosted Cyber Security, which was the first event in our Tech Table series for this year.

In this very interesting webinar, experts were brought together to discuss the Prime Cyber Security threats and major trends with respect to threats, threat actors, and attack technologies. We got an update of the wider field of international cyber security and hybrid conflict, and how to keep up with the emerging threat landscape and increased digitalization while exploring the possibilities. We also got a short Master Class in Cyber Crime and Legal aspects and responsibilities.

Louk Faesen, Strategic Analyst, Cyber Policy and Resilience Program of the Hague Centre for Strategic Studies, and Project Manager of the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace (GCSC).
He researches and advises on numerous policy issues pertaining to the wider field of international cybersecurity and hybrid conflict. He has co-edited paper series and has authored numerous reports and articles, including on cyber norms and cybersecurity standards, disinformation and hybrid conflict, cyber military capabilities and deterrence, as well as the security implications of new technologies. He has briefed members of European Parliament and Council of the EU, participated in international discussions on cyberstability inter alia at the UN, EU, OSCE and AUC, and also organizes a long-running track 2 diplomatic dialogue on cyber issues. Louk worked previously as a Policy Officer at the Task Force International Cyber Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, where he assisted in the substantive preparations for the Global Conference on CyberSpace 2015 and the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise. He holds a Master’s degree in Law and Politics of International Security (LLM) from the VU University of Amsterdam.
Pernilla Rönn, Head of Cyber Security Combitech Sweden
Pernilla is head of cyber security at Combitech. She has more than 25 years of experience from working in the area and is passionate about contributing to a safer society.
Chris Hazewinkel, CEO for Computest Security B.V.
Chris has over 23 years of background in IT/Telecoms and Security. As entrepreneur, investor and personal coach he supported many international IT/Telecom companies in growth, both organically and by merger and acquisitions. Having lived in many places over the world, Chris his ultimate passion is to energize people and their organizations and enable security to become a bit stronger against cybercrime and realizing company goals.
Daan Keuper, Head of Computest’s Security Research division for Computest Security B.V.
Daan is the head of Computest’s Security Research division, where we conduct deep technical security research. Daan, as one of the top 3 ethical hackers in NL (and beyond), has previously worked on car hacking research, in which several vulnerabilities have been identified in cars from the Volkswagen Group and in 2021 he has won Pwn2Own global competition 2021 by hacking Zoom messenger.
Lex Keukens, Lawyer TK Tech at TeekensKarstens
Lex Keukens is a senior lawyer specialized in privacy and intellectual property law. He has an interest in all legal aspects of technologies. He is one of the founders of the law office TK Tech which is a part of Teekens Karstens Advocaten Notarissen. TK Tech's office is located in Amsterdam at Edge Olympic.
