On May 22, 2023, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce organized the second Tech Table which this time about Fintech and hosted by Klarna Netherlands. We would like to give a warm thank you to our fantastic speakers: Näva von Rosen, Head of Expansion at Klarna; Damien Perillat, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Billie; and Anna Blyablina, Co-founder and Chairwoman of the Board at Sthlm Fintech Week for their engaged presentations and for sharing their experiences. The Fintech event was moderated by our Tech Table moderator, Lex Keukens, Attorney at Law/Partner at Swe+Cham Member TK Tech and member of the Swedish Chamber Tech Committee. We would also like to thank Wilko Klaassen, Global Klarna Open Banking & Bank Transfer Domain Lead and Managing Director (CEO) Sofort., for the pleasant hosting of the event and for providing excellent network opportunities with drinks and snacks at Klarnas HQ in Amsterdam.

Klarna has been around since 2005, and we've experienced significant growth during that time. Currently, Klarna holds the title of the world's largest provider of Pay Later services and obtained a bank license in Europe back in 2017. Starting from 2020, Klarna has expanded its reach to 14 new countries (well, two are yet to be announced). Over the past three years, I had the privilege of leading the Klarna Market Expansion initiative together with our CExO, Camilla Giesecke. Achieving entry into 14 new markets within three years is undeniably impressive, and now I'm excited to share some of those incredible stories and insights with you.

Damien Perillat, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Billie
Damien Perillat is the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Billie, the leading provider of Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) payment solutions for business customers in Europe. Prior to joining Billie, Damien held various leadership positions in the fintech industry. Most recently, he led the digital commerce division of payment services provider Worldline. He also spent over a decade with PayPal, a global fintech company, where he served in several management positions including Managing Director for Western Europe. Damien holds an MBA from IESE Business School, Spain and a MSc in management from ESC Toulouse, France.
Anna Blyablina, Co-founder, Chairwoman of the Board Sthlm Fintech Week
Anna is an enthusiastic and passionate professional in the Financial Industry specialising in building effective and mutually beneficial relationships with C-level executives at major banks, leading Financial Institutions, Fintechs, leading SIs, Strategic consultants, Cloud and Tech providers. She co-foundered Sthlm Fintech Week which plays a vital role in building the Swedish Fintech Community. She had been a part of the Mambu's journey from a scale-up to a unicorn by creating new partnerships in various countries. Today she contributes to building the world’s most trusted payment technology at Form3 by accelerating and generating value through partnerships globally and shares her knowledge of digital transformation, digital currencies and payments.
Lex Keukens, Attorney at law / Partner TeekensKarstens
Lex Keukens is a senior lawyer specialized in privacy and intellectual property law. He has an interest in all legal aspects of technologies. He is one of the founders of the law office TK Tech which is a part of Teekens Karstens Advocaten Notarissen.
