On December 9, 2021, Embassy of Sweden, Visit Sweden, Buurtschap Centrum 2005, Business Association “Denneweg” and Museum Escher in Het Paleis cordially invite you to join the online event Lighting of the Swedish Christmas Tree & Lucia celebration 2021.
“Since 1957, the Swedish Embassy has donated a Swedish Christmas Tree to the city of The Hague and the people of The Netherlands as a token of our excellent and longlasting relations. We had looked forward to seeing you in person this year. Instead we will have an online ceremony where Mayor Jan van Zanen and Ambassador Johannes Oljelund together switch on the lights in the tree, followed by a Lucia concert and a piece of Swedish winter holiday inspiration.”

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce is very proud of its continued collaboration with the Gull & Stellan Ljungbergs Foundation for 2022-2023. Last year, in 2021, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce launched the collaboration with the Scholarship. The Scholarship offers a talented and creative young professional with connection to the municipalities of Uddevalla and Trollhättan, the unique opportunity to acquire international experience by joining the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands for a period of 12 months.

The Swedish Chamber proudly announces a Scholarship collaboration with the Elof Hansson Foundation 2022
The Elof Hansson Foundation is a long-term supporter of academic education and training in the commercial sector. As of 2022, it supports a young talent from the School of Business, Economics and Law at Gothenburg University to gain international experience through joining the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the Netherlands for a 12 month period.
As a Scholarship recipient, as well as a Management Trainee, you will for one year actively participate in the work at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and its areas of work such as events, management, marketing, communication, member recruitment as well as member retention and other business promotion.
