“Mastering Leadership for the Future – Business Culture”

Welcome to the IV Session of the Swedish Chamber Mentorship Program on September 19, 2024 at the HQ of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce at Edge Olympic Amsterdam. At this Session the topic is “Business Culture” and we are very pleased to welcome Keynote speaker Candida Snow, Director at Snow CC – Intercultural management & skills training specialists. Candida will share how she together with her team design and deliver tailor-made programmes for internationally operating clients and how to give suppport to better recognise, develop, harness and manage the potential of diverse individuals and (virtual) teams. She will also discuss how to identify and develop the competences and skills which are crucial to success in an complex international business environment.

Candida is director of Snow Culture & Communication and is an intercultural management specialist with over 25 years’ professional experience. She is known as an engaging and interactive speaker and facilitator. Candida designs and comfort and performance in their multicultural and international working environments. delivers tailor-made interventions that support her clients to create trust and optimism. Her clients include major multinationals in the professional service sector, pharmaceutics, retail, high tech fields, engineering, off-shore and industry as well as non-profit organisations around the world. She is a regular guest lecturer at several international business schools and universities.

About the Swedish Chamber Mentorship Programme
The Mentorship Program was launched in October 2012. Since then, more than 100 Young Professionals of the Swedish Chamber have followed the program and benefited from their future personal and professional growth. The many Mentors have benefited from meeting the new generation leaders of the future and learning more about their insights and values. The Mentorship Program is made possible by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with AIMS International Netherlands B.V., a member of AIMS International. Read more here.

Having been a Mentor within this program for the past 2 years and being a professional business coach and trainer, I am very excited to take on the challenge. As Mentor, I have had the privilege to partner with 2 very bright and ambitious young professionals. I think I can say that both the mentees and I learned a lot from each other. I have a very strong business relationship with our AIMS partner in Sweden, delivering our services to our mutual clients. Hence the membership of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce. The ambition for the Mentorship Program is to give young professionals the opportunity to connect with a senior business executive outside of his or her direct environment. Giving the participants access to guidance in issues concerning their future career. As a group we will work on specific topics such as culture and building trusted relationships and we will invite subject matter experts to come and talk to us. The Mentees and Mentors will also spend time together on subjects of their own choice.”
