Welcome to “The Future of Office Furniture is Flexible and Circular”
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce and NORNORM are looking forward to inviting our members to a company presentation on April 25, 2023.
NORNORM provides businesses with attractive workplace furniture solutions based on a subscription model. Requiring neither investment nor long-term commitment, it offers flexibility to scale up or down as the company grows or downsizes. The concept is built on circularity, where every piece of furniture is kept in a loop from one workspace to the next, and every product is carefully maintained and refurbished to extend its lifespan. Good for business, people and the planet.
We look forward to meeting you at Edge Olympic where we will present our groundbreaking solution and where our customers will share some insights and learnings of how they have optimized their workplace strategy.

HUGSI Green City Challenge
The Green City Challenge is a collaboration between Sweco, Husqvarna, and NL Greenlabel. Green cities and towns are essential to cope with climate change, restore biodiversity and promote the health of citizens.
That is why we challenge all municipalities in the Netherlands to participate in the Green City Challenged 2021! Everyone wants greener, but the question is how? We believe it starts with insight. Which neighborhood is the greenest? How much green space does each resident have at their disposal? And where exactly is planting lacking? The Green City Challenge investigates this and provides in-depth insight into the greening potential per district on the basis of data analyzes (including satellite, aerial photos and BGT).

Business Climate Survey for Swedish Companies in the Netherlands 2022
The Dutch market has always been very important to Swedish Companies and continues to be so. The Netherlands is Sweden's seventh-largest export market and third-largest import market at SEK 162 billion in total 2021.
The Netherlands is an attractive market for Swedish companies with its logistically strategic location and high degree of digitalisation, technology, innovation, and sustainability. The Netherlands is also an interesting test market for onward expansion to other countries in Europe. The Dutch business climate bears clear resemblances to that of Sweden. Swedish companies and products enjoy a great reputation for innovation, tech, quality, as well as sustainability, among consumers.
Team Sweden in the Netherlands (the Embassy of Sweden, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, and Business Sweden) have conducted the second Business Climate Survey among Swedish companies in the Netherlands. The findings are presented in this report. This survey was carried out between March and April 2022. The ongoing Russian aggression on Ukraine is likely to have influenced the answers.
The Swedish Chamber is currently working with the Business Climate Survey for 2023.

Meet Ingela Älvskog – New Priest of the Swedish Church in the Netherlands
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce gives a warm welcome to Ingela Älvskog, the newly arrived priest of the Swedish Church in the Netherlands.
"Until the fall of 2020, I lived in Värmland, in a sparsely populated area in Sweden. Then I decided it was time to see a little more of the world and I got a position within the Swedish Church Abroad which meant moving to Frankfurt. It was wonderful to live in a big city and now, just before the New Year, I have moved to start my new assignment in The Hague."
