Welcome Laura Faber and Sanne Terlouw, founders of our Swe-Cham member Bureau de Werkvloer
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce is very pleased to welcome Laura Faber and Sanne Terlouw, founders of our new member company Bureau de Werkvloer.
Many companies don't realize how much of an effect having more women present in every level of an organization has in terms of profit, team functionality within the company, or the ease of filling vacancies from a larger pool of potential employees.
Bureau de werkvloer is a young agency focused on training and communication within companies. It is the brainchild of its two permanent employees, Laura Faber and Sanne Terlouw. To get enough women at the top, to ensure that women are represented at all levels of the organization, and to close the pay gap, Bureau de werkvloer helps companies to develop a program for a more diverse, functional and profitable business.
We are looking forward to sharing their expertise on Gender Balance and Diversity topics, as well as to inviting them as speakers to the Swedish Chamber Women Business Leadership Program 2022.

Launch your international career as a Scholar at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the Netherlands
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce is very proud to present a record of three scholarships offered for a new group of young talents to join the Swedish Chamber of Commerce’s Scholarship Program 2022-2023. The program extends over a period of 12 months and serves as a unique platform to launch many successful alumni careers. The three scholarships have been made possible through generous donations from Elof Hansson Foundation, Gull & Stellan Ljungberg Foundation, and Scholarship Fund for Swedish Youth Abroad. The applications for the three Scholarships are open.
Elof Hansson Foundation
The Elof Hansson Foundation was created in 1985 when Bo-Elof Hansson made a large donation. The foundation supports academic education, research and training in the commercial sector. The major focus is on trade and business activities such as marketing, international trade, accounting, commercial law and business language. Elof Hansson Foundation awards grants to institutions like Supply and Operations Management, Chalmers University of Technology, and School of Business, Economics and Law, University of Gothenburg.
Gull & Stellan Ljungberg Foundation
In memory of Gull and Stellan Ljungberg, the major part of the foundation’s return is each year distributed to young students and professionals from the municipalities of Uddevalla and Trollhättan. The foundation prioritizes applicants who study, participate in exchange semesters, or do fieldwork abroad.
Gull and Stellan ran a leather factory together in Uddevalla during their active years. They both traveled a lot and strived for new knowledge continuously. They made extensive use of both the English and German languages and had a great interest in international business and cultural life. Gull and Stellan donated a part of their fortune to the foundation to enable young students to gain that same international experience they both cherished so much.
Scholarship Fund for Swedish Youth Abroad
The Scholarship Fund for Swedish Youth Abroad was created in 1937 in connection with the 50 years anniversary of Swedish Association of Foreign Trade (Sveriges Allmänna Utrikeshandelsförening).
The foundation grants scholarships for studies in Sweden or Swedish schools abroad, for Swedish language summer courses, for TISUS tests, as well as for internships at Swedish Chambers of Commerce abroad and Swedish School Associations.

Welcome New Member Bureau de werkvloer
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce is very pleased to give a warm welcome to Bureau de werkvloer.
With their programs they make companies more future-proof, profitable and inclusive by reinforcing the position of women. Following the example of the Swedish diversity model and with their knowledge of Dutch culture, the agency tailors specific programs for each organization and company they work with. Their goal is to help women gain the right tools to reach their full potential.
To get enough women at the top, to ensure that women are represented at all levels of the organization, and to close the pay gap, Bureau de werkvloer helps companies to develop a program for a more diverse, functional and profitable business.
We are looking forward to bringing together Bureau de werkvloer with our business network and to a fruitful and exciting collaboration. For more information,
